NotInMyBackyard was designed with large organizations in mind, but the tool will be incredibly useful for consumers. They can punch in their name, email address, bank account login, or Social Security number to see if their information is being pilfered in school, at a hospital or on an online storage service.
Dropbox, an online storage service, is a great example of a well-executed viral loop. Users have a certain amount of storage space when they sign up for the service, but Dropbox offers current users more space each time they recommend the service to a friend. This incentivizes recommendingthe service often, and thus creating a viral loop -- a never-ending stream of new users if you will.
You don't have to have expensive cameras or a studio to make high-quality videos for your business, either. You can use a tool like Biteable. Biteable is a free online software that makes awesome Instagram videos in minutes combining its pre-made video templates with your own images.
The worst part is, Facebook has no Support Center to call to personally file my complaint. It is more easier and faster than sending feedback. I think no matter what you do, they will disable users no matter how authentic it is. I've personally experienced it August 11. They are so biased and a big failure of fair and equal service online. Facebook must be charged with their faults with hundreds of thousand of people complained each year. I don't want Facebook to shutdown, but authorities must do something about this false claim. Good thing I found this forum. I am so mad with Facebook.
This is a free social media service, so we hardly have the right to complain. The only things I do want to point out is that the "fact checker" has been caught in lies on several occasions. I don't think it should exist at all. People will believe what they want to believe no matter what. Then there is the new scrolling bar on notifications. It is difficult to move if the user has a shaky hand and a lot of people have disease or illness that causes their hand to shake, but would like to be able to navigate notifications to keep in contact with friends and loved ones.
You can avoid such problems by disconnecting your hard drive after it backs up your computer; burning your data to DVDs; or using an online backup service like Carbonite that only connects to your computer periodically and keeps multiple versions of your data.
Chegg is not officially associated with BU, but it is a service many students turn to for resources such as online textbooks and answers to homework. While the hack occurred last year, the effect on BU students was only recently discovered thanks to the September spam emails. 2b1af7f3a8
