A baby anaconda, which was captured at the end of the previous film, is being used for experiments by a man named Peter Reysner, who creates a hybrid of the blood orchids from Borneo that enabled the anaconda to grow so large and live so long, and creates a serum for cell regeneration.
In the jungle of Borneo, the leader of a gene bank steals a totem of Lycorea -- a lily with an orchid hybrid. With the totem, he is able to give the baby anaconda to Peter Reysner, a doctor who experiments with the blood orchids by splicing animal DNA into it. After 15 years of breeding with the lily totem, the reptile has grown to gargantuan proportions, weighing over a ton.
Four years later, Peter Reysner discovers that the anaconda's lifeblood is a serum for cell regeneration. He tracks the creature to a museum and kills it, only to find that Ivan Stavenow -- former employee who used to work there -- has also discovered of its serum, and has become obsessed with hunting it down. Instead of saving the serum, he promises to reveal Stavenow's secret to Peter Reysner.
After the battle that follows, Stavenow is captured by Ivan's assistant, and the two are taken to a laboratory where they are confronted by a group of rebels attempting to overthrow a group of anonymous power-mad men who hold the world hostage. Stavenow escapes and returns to the United Nations in New York City in order to free his daughter, whom the rebels wanted to use as a human sacrifice. However, Stavenow is confronted by a creature known as the Primis.
Ivan Stavenow and his associates ambush the group led by the Primis and kill them, but the Primis manages to find a way in which to destroy the laboratory, ultimately avenging their leader's death. Ivan discovers that the Primis is actually the real Peter Reysner -- the son of his late wife, an orchid hybrid who died long ago. d2c66b5586
